I haven't tried Hellgate longdon. Is it fun to play?
I was just thinking of a game I've played for a long time just because I have fun playing it, despite not getting any in-game rewards for playing.
It's probably because of the mods being made. Grappling onto a flyer and swinging through the air while it's flying around the level is mad fun.

PvE too easy?

Buy a new game and stop being cheap.

Hellgate is good fun, bit on the buggy side though. I haven't tried it online yet though, waiting for a few patches.

To many Homer Simpsons here with the belief "...you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try." And as a result everyone is drifting away and isolating themselves, and the playerbase as a whole is getting no better.

None of that is challenging. You can't make idiots listen to you, and if they don't thats no fault of your own. I could do all of the above with my friends no problem. The action isn't challenging, the challenge is getting lucky enough to get 7 people that aren't idiots on your team.

Sometimes pugging can be fun, annoying, but fun. You'll never find a semi-decent player in a pug, but sometimes Firestorm Divine Healing monks well... Sometimes you don't need that much healing, condition and hex removal, or protection, right?

I mean, you get a good laugh or cry from it.

I just thought I'd chime in that the only time I've ever successfully PUG'd are in the incredibly difficult areas of the game, where the only people looking for PUGs are the people who are hardcore enough to even care. A good example of this would be DoA about a week and a half after release, where the only people left in the districts were good.

I occasionally join PUGs for fun, especially at Gates of Madness. I have only encountered one single PUG group (out of 6 or 7) that did not make it through GoM and that was only since they wanted to kill Shiro first, and not doing bonus. In my experience a pug do very seldom compare to a good guild team (although it actually happens a seldom time). But most often the misstakes are not more severe than 1-3 decent players easily can repair them.

Maybe I have been lucky, but I also try to choose PUGs. How they announce the group, respond and how the characters are named are important to me before I decide to join.

As for the OP idea.
I would suggest it as a fun guild thing to do.
As pointed out before finding PUGs in all outposts is very hard and if you also want to have 100% human parties I would say impossible.
